can you develope glaucoma from being hit in the eye?about september 7th my girl friend was hit in the eye with a small object we didn't think anything of it. the very next day i had to leave to basic training... now she has like this little white thing by the color of her eye. we went to get it checked and the doctor diagnosed her with glaucoma. the clear thing on her eye wasn't there before so can you get glaucoma by being hit in the eye?

Yes its a secondary glaucoma caused by occular trauma. Also known as an angle recession glaucoma.
