What are some medical reasons to smoke pot, besides cancer and glaucoma?

Glaucoma? Yeah, thats a new one. Glaucoma is just some opacity covering the eye - its not fatal, your eyesight just isnt as clear anymore.

Other reasons a doctor would prescribe medical marijuana are for people who are dying from:

HEART FAILURE
KIDNEY FAILURE
LIVER FAILURE
SOME CANCERS (NOT ALL) - ONES THAT ARE MORE DEADLY

You cannot just be prescribed it just because you have these, but mainly when you are dying from it, or there is no cure for your own specific problem.

Um, it's pretty common knowledge that medical marijuana is prescribed for glaucoma - which is not "just some opacity covering the eye" where "your eyesight just isnt as clear anymore" (you were thinking of cataracts). Glaucoma is abnormally high pressure within the eye that causes optic nerve damage which results in blindness. Marijuana is thought to reduce the interocular pressure.

Marijuana is an appetite stimulant, so it can be useful in diseases and disorders where a patient may be nauseated or unable to eat.
