Could I be getting Glaucoma?

Could I be getting Glaucoma?three days ago both my eyes turned really pink with red veins running through them..I tried allergy drops and fake tear drops and none of this is getting rid of the redness. They arn 't itchy but they do hurt a little bit. It hurts to touch my eyelashes..and I have been feeling a weird pressure behind my eyes and in my ears for months....I ignored the pressure feeling, because it was always slight...but now my eyes are pink...and veiny...I can see fine...but I was born nearsighted...and my eyes were crossed when I was a baby but healed over time....
Could this be gluacoma or something else??
I'm really scared..
I'm getting my eyes checked tomorrow.

It's hard to make a diagnosis over the internet, but it doesn't sound like typical glaucoma. Most types of glaucoma are painless and silent. You would slowly be losing small chunks of vision and not feel or notice it until there was significant damage and vision loss. That's why seeing an optometrist regularly, every 1 to 2 years, is important. The one glaucoma that is painful is acute angle closure. You would experience hazy vision, headaches, nausea and possibly vomiting. This is an emergency situation and you should seek help immediately if this happens.

It's possible you have an eye infection or allergic conjunctivitis. A sinus infection could possibly travel to your eyes. The 'pink' color indicates something more allergic or viral. If they are beefy red then that could indicate a bacterial infection. It's hard to say unless an eye doctor checks it out. So I'm glad you're seeing one soon. :-)
