Since its never been proven that marijuana negatively affects unborn children, is it okay that I use it?Im 6 weeks pregnant and I started having the worst morning sickness at 5 weeks. I was in bed all day, I couldn't eat, and if I did eat anything (usually it was only some pretzels or crackers) I would always throw it up. But after I smoke, I feel completely better (no nausea at all), I don't throw up at all (even in the morning when I feel worst) and I have an appetite again (yesterday I had a big plate of spaghetti, the biggest meal i've had in a while, and it stayed down fine). Do most women freak out about MJ just because it has a "burnout druggie stoner" image on it? Because all the cancer, multiple sclerosis and glaucoma patients who use it medically aren't using it just to "get high."
I never tried to get pregnant lol

The fact that you're trying to find reasons it's okay, it's not okay. You're going to be a mother, grow up and put down the joint.

It DOES affect humans so it is definitely going to affect your unborm baby. It's a drug, don;t kid yourself it's safe to take it.

this sheet http://www.otispregnancy.org/pdf/marijuana.pdf tells you you will be putting your baby at risk of defects and of being low weight, which brings it s own problems with it.

Bottom line is if you smoke while PG then you are damaging your baby - why would you want to do that?

Okay here's my view on it, if you can't lay off of marijuana (which is a drug) for your child then you are selfish, its' not healthy to smoke anything at all, even cigarettes when you are pregnant. Your baby should be more important than smoking, because it really could harm your child.

if you're going to use it you should have thought about it before you got pregnant. Why take a chance and ruin your childs life because of something you feel the need to do.
